My son had a flat tire this weekend so when it came time for him to go back to school I took him. Cold, windy, blowing snow...normal winter driving. Just minutes after I'm home again I hear the front door unlocking. He forgot his laptop charger and got his roommate to give him a ride. I started to say he could have asked me to bring it, then thought 'No, another hour on the road tonight would have been too much. He made the right choice.

It's a pity he didn't think of it sooner and then his mate could have come and collected him in the first plac so you wouldn't have had to drive in it at all....having said that I bet it was nice having your son all to yourself for a little while before saying goodbye again!
That's very true! The drive up went so fast because we have so much to talk about after being apart all week. Then he worked all weekend so it went by too quickly.
